Inviting Everyone From All Walks of Life
Church Community and Christian-Based Volunteer Efforts
Coming Together to Share and Celebrate the Wisdom of God
We are a fellowship dedicated to living out our faith with simplicity and integrity without a lot of complicated and often unnecessary religious rules and regulations.
Who We Are
We believe in the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to change lives for the better. If you are without a church home and are looking to fellowship with down-to-earth people who love God, you will feel at home in the Vineyard Church Nacogdoches.
To restore others to God, to grow in His grace, and to go to the world.
As followers of Jesus, we invite others to be disciples, allowing His love to show through us as we live this life following Him, and seeing His Kingdom come.
We strive to do more not only for our local communities but for individuals in need throughout the world. Our services include a wide array of Christian-based initiatives that include the following:
- Connect Groups
- Church Planting
- Leadership Training
- Local and Overseas Missions
- Outreach Events
Texas had an estimated 27,229 experiencing homelessness on any given day, as reported by Continuums of Care to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Of that Total, 1,912 were family households, 1,948 were Veterans, 1,408 were unaccompanied young adults (aged 18-24), and 4,033 were individuals experiencing chronic homelessness.
One small way we can help is through the ongoing distribution of “Manna Bags.” A team of volunteers in the church gathers supplies that include useful items such as non-perishable food items, water, socks, and local ‘helps’ information. The items are placed in a Ziploc bag for distribution every Sunday.
Our Church Events
We enjoy fellowship time at 10:00 A.M. with soul-soothing coffee, fruits, and donuts. Then, at 10:30 A.M., our worship service begins and is followed by a Biblical message of hope and love.
Weekly Connect Groups
We have multiple groups which meet during the week either at the church or throughout our community. These sessions are excellent opportunities for our members to get to know and encourage each other throughout their journeys in faith and life.
Children, Youth, and Other Ministries
We have hired and trained nursery staff for infants up to 2 years of age. Our children and youth ministries currently have classes for kids of all ages. These sessions include practical lessons, personal care, and helpful instruction. We have several roles for interested volunteers including the following:
- Child or Youth Leaders
- Ministry Teams
- Prayer Teams
- Support Staff
- Worship Teams
We invite individuals to give tithe online or in-person at our church. We also provide church comers with manna bags that they can give to those in need.
