As we live up to our slogan, “a church for everyone”, we offer opportunities for our neighbors to understand their faith better and grow closer to Christ.  Scripture calls this process discipleship.

The Vineyard approach to discipleship is through teaching and serving one-another.

Discipleship through learning

Teaching is offered over the year as we host events and small-groups to explore essential truths in our faith and every-day relationships common to everyone.  Some of these are required training for our ministry leaders.  A commitment to discipleship goes beyond showing up for the Sunday morning sermon.  It is intentionally more personal so we grow in our faith together.

Discipleship through service

Serving others is our other avenue to spiritual maturity.  Ministry leaders are dedicated volunteers who coordinate and oversee their assignments.  Without willing volunteers in key roles, serving under these key leaders, this church simply runs on fumes.  We need servant volunteers as much as each of us needs  to serve in order to grow.
